We’ve brought you the Mock Draft Monitor over the past few months.

But now it’s time to consult the real “experts.”

BaltimoreRavens.com has reached out to some Baltimore celebrities to ask who they believe the Ravens will select at No. 26 in the first round of next Thursday’s NFL Draft.

Here’s what they had to say:

Josh Charles

Actor Josh Charles, Baltimore native (CBS The Good Wife)
“I feel like cornerback or offensive lineman. We could use a shutdown corner, because that would let us blitz more with [ Defensive Coordinator Chuck] Pagano. I think our secondary did a good job last year, but we really haven’t been able to shut down one side of the field since we had Chris McAlister. But I feel like we need help on the offensive line. It just feels like one of those Ben Grubbs drafts, you know? I feel like it’s one of those years where you make a safe, really solid pick. So I’ll go with Mike Pouncey. Yeah, I’ll go with him because I want to [tick] off Steelers fans. I want you to write that for me. I want those two brothers to fight two times a year.”
Pick: C/G Mike Pouncey, Florida

Governor Martin O’Malley
“As home to some of the best and most talented athletes in the country, I would encourage the Baltimore Ravens to draft starting right here in Maryland. We’ve got such great athletes from our universities and colleges. This is such an exciting time for Ravens fans as we have been in the playoffs for three straight years – hopefully, next season (if there is one) we can make a run all the way to the Super Bowl. Go Ravens!”

“Well they already have a great defense. They have a good quarterback, but I think they could use some quality speed guys for him, some receivers. Get some speed receivers. These guys won’t last, but Julio Jones and A.J. Green would be ideal. After them, who’s the best on the board there?”

Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake
"I said it before last year’s draft and I’m gonna say it again this year. Cornerback is our number one need! The injury bug hit the defensive backfield last year, and three of our top four cornerbacks are free agents this offseason.  My pick would be Brandon Harris from Miami.  I’m sure Ed and Ray would love to have another Hurricane around.  If not him, then I say Jimmy Smith from Colorado."
Pick: CB Brandon Harris, Miami; CB Jimmy Smith, Colorado

Stacy Kiebler

Actress and former Ravens cheerleader Stacy Kiebler
“As long as we address a need, that’s the important thing, but there’s a receiver from Maryland – Torrey Smith – who is projected to go pretty high so I think it would be great to give Joe Flacco another weapon on offense! Plus, since he went to Maryland I’m sure the fans would be behind him all the way. GO RAVENS!!!”
Pick: Torrey Smith, Maryland
